I really don't like moths...

I fucking hate moths, I really love butterflies but I really, really hate moths. I have no good explanation for this but it has always been something I've been... not afraid of, per se, but it's something about a moth that makes me run for the hills. I know they can't do anything to me but the thought of one crashing into my face is terrifying! So here's a few facts about moths, just because... ;)

1. The Phobia of moths is called mottephobia. 
2. A moth is an insect related to the butterfly and also belonging to the order Lepidoptera.
3. Moth larvae, or caterpillars, make cocoons from which they emerge as fully grown moths with wings.
4. Some moth caterpillars dig holes in the ground, where they live until they are ready to turn into adult moths.
5. Moths evolved long before butterflies, fossils having been found that may be 190 million years old.
6. Moths frequently appear to circle artificial lights, although the reason for this behavior remains unknown.
7.  By maintaining a constant angular relationship to a bright celestial light, such as the moon, they can fly in a straight line.
8. When a moth encounters a much closer artificial light and uses it for navigation, the angle changes noticeably after only a short distance, in addition to being often below the horizon. The moth instinctively attempts to correct by turning toward the light, causing airborne moths to come plummeting downward, and resulting in a spiral flight path that gets closer and closer to the light source.

Why is life so complicated?

Today I was reminded of the reason why I left home as soon as i could. It felt like two seconds between me graduating high school and starting Uni. The Uni thing I now regret because I feel like I was way to young at 18 to know what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. But it did get me away from my hometown. I love my family more than anything but I do have a hard time living in the same house as some of them. I don't know why but we don't really mix well together when we've spent to much time in the same house.

I see myself as a strong person and it's really hard to tear me down. I easily brush most things of without giving any thought to it. But if it's one thing that can put a dent in my strong exterior it's my family. They usually don't mean anything by what they're saying and the things aren't said to hurt me but the way they are said just rub me the wrong way and makes me irritated and when I'm irritated and tired at the same time a crack.

I was almost certain I wouldn't go back to Uni after the summer and instead stay at my parents house for a while, just until I found what I really wanted to do. But I've been here for approximately a month now and it makes me wonder if I would be able to actually move back in here without loosing my sanity.

Hair, Hair, Hair

I found this picture of me, taken about two years ago and I realized how much I miss my blue and pink hair. It was a pain to upkeep and I completely destroyed my hair but I really liked it. I'm thinking of doing some ombre, still keeping my hair brown but a fun color at the bottom, kind of like this:

I really like this song, mostly because I really Love Demi Lovato so I think this version is way better than the original. The Original is still good but Demi makes it much, much better :)

Get to know me :)

Since I'm new to this blog thing I thought I'd do a "get to know me" type of tag and I found this one online somewhere, so here we go, and I've started out with a picture of me as a kid and one of me just a little while ago :)

                    

1. Are you named after anyone? No I’m not. At least not that I’m aware of ;)

2. When was the last time you cried? I don’t really remember, I don’t cry much and the only time I do is when I’m irritated and super stressed at the same time.

3. Do you have kids? No I do not!

4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself? Yes I would. I think, that if the answer to that question is no, then maybe re-think how you are as a person?

5. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Yeah, maybe a little to much actually.

6. Will you ever bungee-jump? Probably not. My worse fear is to fall to my death, so I rarely every go into elevators or anything else that might fall downwards so bungee-jump seem like a useless idea!

7. What’s your favorite cereal? I don’t really like cereal but if I had to choose one then probably Coco Pops. I’m not sure if that’s the universal name for that cereal but whatever… google it ;)

8. What’s the first thing you notice about people? First thing I notice about people… I mean probably the eyes since the eyes are what most people look at when you’re looking at another person.

9. What is your eye colour? Blue.

10. Scary movie or happy endings? I love some Scary Movies but I also really hate others! But I’d take a scary movie over other films any day!

11. Favorite smells? Fragrances for Men :) They smell so good!!

12. Summer or winter? Summer!!!! 

13. Computer or television? Computer.

14. What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home? Um, I’m not sure if San Francisco or Thailand is further away but one of those.

15. Do you have any special talents? I wouldn’t call it special but I am quite good at volleyball.

16. Where were you born? Sweden.

17. What are your hobbies? I listen to a lot of music! I spend quite a lot of time working on things in photoshop and Illustartor. I love spending time with friends but I also love my me time. 

18. Do you have any pets? No, I don’t have time for pets at the moment but maybe in a few years when I’ve decided what to do with my life.

19. Favorite movie? Oh, that’s a hard question but probably the first Harry Potter movie! and the second one, and the third one and the forth to eight Harry Potter films ;) But the first one's the best for sure <3

20. Do you have any siblings? I’ve got an older brother.

21. What do you want to be when you grow up? Two years ago, when I finished high school and when in to college I thought I knew exactly what I wanted my future to look like. Now when I’ve realized it wasn’t really what I wanted, I have no idea. So for right now, When I grow up I want to be Happy :)

If I die today, tell Harry Styles I loved him.

I have no idea what I was looking for, but I found a shirt with the text "If i die today, tell Harry Styles I loved him" and I, for some reason, fell in love with it. I have no idea where I can get one so I was thinking of making my own when later next week when I've been able to pick up some new fabric paint and a nice shirt.

My name is Hanna, I am 20 years old and I'm from Sweden. I felt the need to introduce myself before starting this whole blog thing so there you have it.

I've tried a few different blog platforms before but never found one I really enjoyed using so I'm here to try this one.

I'm leaving you with this picture of summer i found on google, mostly because I wish I could go to the beach but the weather in Sweden is not as warm as it usually is at this time which really sucks because I'm back at my hometown for the summer and so I'm really close to the beach!
